PrintLook at the size of that HEART! The AmeriHeart was presented by Bellin Heart and Vascular Center at the Superbowl of Safety on Saturday Jan 29th, 2011. If you didn't get a chance to see it, take a look at these pictures.
Thank-you to everyone who took a tour of "your heart". We received terrific feedback on the experience and many of you told us you would like to see the heart again. The nurses did an excellent job working with the kids, having them listen to their own hearts, talked to them about keeping their teeth and body healthy, and then showed everyone the components of the heart. Everyone learned about heart attacks, bypass surgery, valve infections and traveled through the heart just like they were a blood cell.
